APC Back-UPS RS LCD 700 Master Control

The Back-UPS RS 700 Uninterruptible Power Supply from APC provides power to your important computer components in the event of an electrical outage. The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) contains a battery which continues to power computers, monitors and other components if the electricity is cut from them. An LCD status display provides information including remaining battery life, load capacity, and event notices. The long-lasting battery is hot-swappable and easy to replace. An audible alarm alerts you of events like power outage and low battery. Six power outlets on the back of the unit provide versatility in power connection.Automatically cuts power to idle equipment to conserve electricity Warns when a battery is not available to provide backup power Gives higher application availability by correcting low and high voltage conditions without using the battery Text and mimic diagrams that display modes of operation, system parameters and alarms Reserves power capacity and run time for connected equipment that require battery back-up while providing surge only protection for less critical equipment Provides protection of connected equipment from power surges on the data lines

Protects connected loads from surges, spikes, lightning, and other power disturbances Provides notification of changing utility power and UPS conditions Automatically starts up the connected equipment upon the return of utility power Periodic battery self-test ensures early detection of a battery that needs to be replaced Ensures clean, uninterrupted power to protected equipment while batteries are being replaced Protect equipment with input transformer blocks without blocking access to other receptacles Increases availability by allowing a trained user to perform upgrades and replacements of the batteries reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) Provides the ability to adapt the UPS for optimal performance in specific power environments or generator applications Maximizes useful battery life by widening the input voltage window or tightening the output voltage regulation Allows for standardization on one product for use in different environments Micro-processor controlled battery charging and diagnostic testing ensures maximum battery life
